Introducing Weston Keith Welling

- Just a couple hours old!!

It has been awhile since I have posted anything for two reasons. 1- I have been super busy, I am taking three classes right now and being a new mom I am constantly doing something and 2- I don't even know if anyone reads my blog so why go to all the work to post stuff. My good friend Janee and Grandma have asked me if I have updated my blog latelty and now I can tell them I have!!

Our little Weston Keith Welling came into the world on September 7th 2010 at 7:01 p.m.! Weighing 8 lbs and 1 ounce and 21 inches long! It was a huge surprise to both me and Robby because my Doctor kept telling me my baby was measuring soooooooo small and that is why he pushed my due date back an entire week and half about! RAGE! Me and Robby couldn't be more thrilled with this little guy, he is a very calm baby and does not cry unless he is hungry or gassy

:(We did find out he was allergic to milk and protein so he has to be on this SUPER expensive formula! It ONLY comes in a 16oz can and costs about 26 dollars a can! We hope he will grow out of the protein allergy!! I stopped breast feeding when this all happened. If I were to continue breast feeding I could only eat really really lean mean and vegetables! With all of the stress with school and being a new mom I felt too overwhelmed to always watch every little thing I ate so...Hopefully better luck with the next child!

Names...

I never thought that naming a child would be so hard. Growing up there were always names I loved and knew those would be the names I would choose but little did I forget that my husband has to agree as well. We agreed on the name Weston early on and that is what people call this little guy but I will randomly shoot out names to Robby to see if he likes them such as Boston or Porter, or Caleb and he usally says NO...but the other day I asked if he like Kaden and he said YES! So now that might be the name of our little guy. I just can't decided. I never thought how hard it would be to just pick a name! Hopefully when I see this little guy I will just decide what he looks like more a Weston or a Kaden!

As of late..

Last week we had the fun chance to head to Arkansas to visit Robbys sister and her family. They also needed our help moving. I wasn't too much help since I am prego and my back hurts but Robby was a huge help to them and we always love seeing them when we get the chance! Robby sister has the cutest children and it is always not stop laughing when you have big boy Walker in sight. It also got me excited for my little man because she just had a baby boy named Wyatt a couple months ago and he is so stinkin cute.. I can't wait to see my little guy. The one this about Arkansas is that is not only hot but has humidity. My feet swelled up like a balloon. We had a great time and were sad to leave!

My pregnancy is moving along! I am 30 weeks a long now and have 10 more to go and can't believe how fast it has gone. I am ready to be done being pregnant. I don't enjoy it and I am getting swollen and that is no fun either. I went to my doctor the other day and he got mad at me for gaining too much weight in one week. I have only gained a total of 16 pounds so I don't know why he was being so weird about it. I am right on track and I feel like I am just retaining water so that is why I gained 7 pounds in 1 month. But overall I am getting way excited but I am also so scared, I hope I can be a good mother. Here is a picture of me at 30 weeks!

Excitement!

Today I went to a doctors appt! The doctors office I go to I get an ultrasound every time so it is so exciting to go becuase I get to see my little dude! He now weighs 1 pound 14 ounces so almost 2 pounds! I can't even believe how big he is getting it is crazy. I also gained a lot of weight last month! A total of 6 pounds in one freaking month, but its okay because my baby is growing and I will grow too. I have gained a total of 13 pounds so far and I am 26 weeks a long so about normal I guess my doctor says. We got some 3D pictures of our little Weston today. It is a picture of a picture so it doesn't look too great..but if you look closely you can see his little face and his arm. Its so cool to know that in just 3 months I will be holding this little man!! I took this picture of me today at 26 weeks! My face looks so huge, a part of me keeps telling myself that I am carrying some of my baby is my face haha!

Pregnancy 411

24 Weeks Pregnant

Baby weighs about 1 pound and 4 ounces.

Weight Gain?: So far I have gained 7 pounds.
Stretch Marks?: I don't have any yet but I know those don't start coming till later so we will see...
Name?: We always loved the name Weston from the start and when we found out it was a boy everyone calls him Weston so thats the name. Weston Keith Welling. Keith is after my grandpa Strong who passed away when my father was only six months so I was never able to meet him and now his name will live on!:)

Maternity Clothes?: Yes, I still can fit into some of my jeans and even button them but maternity clothes are just much more comfortable and my sweet mother in law was so nice to take my shopping and buy my all these maternity clothes.

Sleep?: I can still sleep at night the only thing is I sleep on my back and always find myself waking up in the night switching to my side.

Food cravings?: Mexican food, I love bean and cheese burritos! I also love chocolate milk which I never really cared for before I was pregnant.

Best moment of the week? Having Robby feel Weston! Finally he was able to feel him, it was cool.

What I miss?: Being able to run and fit into my clothes. Before I got pregnant I gained about 15 pounds being married so I first off started this pregnancy off the highest I have ever weighed in my life and I was looking at old pictures when I was a 125 pounds and I will never complain again about being fat because I was so skinny!! 11 out the 15 pounds I gained was just from last fall semester. I took 6 classes last fall and I was constantly sitting at work and then sitting at school and never worked out once not once in the fall semester so I look forward to getting back into shape after this baby.

Pregnancy is a lot different than I expected. I have been pretty sick and now I have a lot of back pain. But the the pros do weight the cons for sure. I love feeling him and I love going to the doctors and seeing him in the ulrasounds. Me and Robby just can't wait to meet him..

Healthy Boy

Thursday I went and got my "Targeted Ultrasound". It was a 20 minuete ultra sound where they checked everything and made sure all the major bones and organs are developing at the same rate. As for all of that he is happy healthy boy. He is moving all the time, but every time I grab Robby to feel him he suddenly stops. Naughty boy. But we are happy and excited to see what he will be like. We got this 3D shot of him at 22 weeks. It is cool to see his little face.

It's a Boy

Me and Robby found out that we are having a boy! We are so excited! I knew all along it was a boy and according to Robby he doesn't make girls yet....So we are excited and I slowing starting to look pregnant but people probably just think I am getting fat!
