Weekend..FUN

I CAN'T sleep!! So I decided to blog about our fun weekend! We went up to SLC this weekend not like we live that far from SLC...Friday we went to the jazz game with some good friends Janne, Dallas, Rachel and Austin! It was lots of fun and it has been such a long time since I have gone to a game! Dallas knows a ball boy so he got a FREE tickets on the 16 the row on the lower bowl section right behind the players! It was pretty sweet and so fun to be close. The Jazz won as well so that made it even more fun! Thanks to Janee and Dallas for inviting us!

UPDATE on my sweet little WES! He is getting so big! I just love him! He is now rolling over and so it begins! They grow so fast! He is so HAPPY!! He just smiles smiles smiles all day long, I am not kidding. He is 16 pounds and 4 months old. He drools constantly and loves to have his fist in his mouth 24-7! He loves bath time every night and goes right to bed after his bath! He sleeps anywhere from 7-10 hrs right now. That could all change in a night but we will take it! A year ago this time I found out I was pregnant with him and I was so shocked I cried and was upset about it all. We were trying to prevent children...Now that I have this little man I couldn't picture my life without him! He is my life!! I love you baby WES!

My little Sister Brianna Maire turned 14 on the 13th! She is such a sweet good girl and I love her. On saturday we had a family birhtday party in the morning (didn't get any pics) and later that night she had invited friends to come over. While my parents bowled at their bowling league I watched these teenagers for a bit! Brianna said only 10 were coming but then they just kept coming and there ended up being like 20 or more 14 year olds running around! Goodness!!! Thats all I will say! Wes stay little for longer please!

Later that night as my mother came home to babysit the teenagers we left and met up with good friends Afton and Terry! They had extra tickets for us to go to the car show! It was so fun to be with them! I miss Afton so much and don't get to see her much because she is a busy girl but it was so fun to get in and look at all these expensive cars! Thanks Afton and Terry for inviting us~ It was so fun to be with you guys!

It was such a fun weekend! We ended up staying another night at my moms and hung out all day with the family! It was a nice day to relax and be with family! It was such a fun weekend and again it went way to fast!!!

Christmas Time

This holiday season was so fun and filled with lots of food. My mother in law informed us last night that in two weeks she went through almost 11 pounds of butter!! I bet I ate at least a pound or more than that. Christmas Eve we spent with Robby family and it was a lot of fun. We played Bingo and won prizes and then opened our Christmas PJ's. Robby sister Angela and her family were in town and so we decided to stay the night at Robby moms house on Christmas Eve. It was so fun to see Angela and Dan's kids open their gifts and it makes me excited for when little Wes knows what it is about. Christmas day we spent with my family and it was a nice day. Just ate and relaxed!! Love it! Overall it was a great holiday season and school starts tomorrow already :(! Back to reality.

Merry Christmas to US!

Today was a hard day! Robby woke up went to work and I started off my day being a mommy and studying for a final I had to take today. Robby came home early so I could go to SLC and take my test. Everything seemed great but when I got home my husband looked at me with a very serious face and said "I have some bad news." I looked at him and and for a second I thought someone had died or was hurt. He then said "I got layed off". I instantly started to cry so many emotions ran through my mine and we didnt see this coming at all. Those of you that don't know my husband, he never never cries, ever! He hardly ever shows any emotion and he started to cry and we just hugged eachother and cried together. It was a HUGE shock. Right before the baby Wes was born Robby got a HUGE raise and a company I-phone so who would have thought this would come three months later?? I know everything will be okay and that is why we have been building a savings, for times like these right? I am just sad because I know I will have to go back to work now. With the pay Robby was making I was able to stay home and be with my baby but there is no way he will make was he was making, it was such a blessing that we did get that pay for the months that he worked. I am blessed that when I do go back to work my mother in law is just up the road to help us out. This is mine and my husbands first real trial as a family. Ever since we have been married we have never stressed about money and have always been able to go and do whatever we want. This is such a humbling experience for sure and this is the first time I have personally been affected by the economy and it sucks. I know that we are blessed and we have so much friends and family support and we will be okay. I know our heavenly father will watch over us and keep a roof over our heads. But Merry Christmas to us! haha!

Today was such a wonderful day! My sweet little Wes got blessed by his dad. Robby did such a great job and I cried, I am such a baby. We had so many family and friends come support Wes on this special day it was great. Thanks to my in-laws for letting us have the luncheon at their house there was no way our place could have accomodated 70 people. The blessing outfit he wore was the outfit that Robby wore when he got blessed almost 24 years ago. The little tux looked so cute on him. Thanks for everyones love and support we couldn't have done it without you!!

I love being a mom to this baby. He is such a happy baby and just smiles all the time and I love it. I get to wake up to these smiles everyday and it is such a joy. I was watching 16 and Pregnant the other day on MTV and this teen mom was explaing what being a mother was like to her friend and she related it to being in PRISON!! What!! I love being a mother and don't know how anyone could ever think it would be like prison. Being a mother is a wonderful blessing and I am so happy to have a HAPPY healthy baby boy!! Oh and he is kinda laughing, almost there!!

Halloween Fun

Halloween was a lot of fun this year. We were able to hitch a ride with Robbys parents to visit his brother 12 hours north! The little guy did so good! Didn't really fuss too much and slept the entire way. When he was awake he just smiled at me and Robby. For the most part he is such a happy baby I love it. I love how he is starting to smile and he is almost laughing! Can't wait for that. Little Wes was a chicken, he really didn't enjoy his costume too much so he basically was just in it for pictures. I was a pig and Robby was a good sport and was a cow. Overall it was fun and always good to get home after a long drive.

- Just a couple hours old!!

It has been awhile since I have posted anything for two reasons. 1- I have been super busy, I am taking three classes right now and being a new mom I am constantly doing something and 2- I don't even know if anyone reads my blog so why go to all the work to post stuff. My good friend Janee and Grandma have asked me if I have updated my blog latelty and now I can tell them I have!!

Our little Weston Keith Welling came into the world on September 7th 2010 at 7:01 p.m.! Weighing 8 lbs and 1 ounce and 21 inches long! It was a huge surprise to both me and Robby because my Doctor kept telling me my baby was measuring soooooooo small and that is why he pushed my due date back an entire week and half about! RAGE! Me and Robby couldn't be more thrilled with this little guy, he is a very calm baby and does not cry unless he is hungry or gassy

:(We did find out he was allergic to milk and protein so he has to be on this SUPER expensive formula! It ONLY comes in a 16oz can and costs about 26 dollars a can! We hope he will grow out of the protein allergy!! I stopped breast feeding when this all happened. If I were to continue breast feeding I could only eat really really lean mean and vegetables! With all of the stress with school and being a new mom I felt too overwhelmed to always watch every little thing I ate so...Hopefully better luck with the next child!
