Baby Food

So I have just decided that I am not really a fan of the baby food stage. It is messy, takes patience, dirty clothes, Weston is picky- forcing him to eat veggies is hard you would think I was torturing him by the way he was crying, and (sorry this is gross) his BM's are getting to be more human like if you know what I mean. But I do enjoy that it is a lot cheaper than formula:)

Oh and by the way I got a job, it is PRN (on call) so I work when I want so that is really nice. If people call me and I don't want to work I can simply say "no" with no questions asked.

Excited for Summer!!

Six

My little Wes is 6 months old!! :( I am sad that time is going so fast, in no time he will be talking and walking and I just want him to stay little forever :) Happy 6 months to my little Wes! Here are some fun facts about Wes right now
-HATES his tummy time, once he rolls over to his tummy he will almost immediately cry, hopefully this will delay crawling. :)
-His a very happy boy
-Has eczema (finally got cream for it and his forhead is finally clearing up)
-Still no teeth but sometimes will act like he is teething so who knows!
-Weight 20 pounds, height is about 27 inches if I remember right
-Hates peas, gags everytime he eats them
-Loves sweet potatoes and his oatmeal
-Still has to have blankets touching his face when he sleeps
-Has the cutest and most distinct laugh
-Still thinks his dad is hilarious
-Sitting up on his own
-Loves to talk, and makes funny little faces like he is trying to talk to us
-Loves his walker
-Loves to grab everything in site!
-His a very loved boy by so many! We love you WES!
The mis-matched socks, one night his toes were cold and I was too lazy to go upstairs to get a pair and found these in the livingroom
Loves his bath every night!
Again, this is how he sleeps, has to have stuff touching his face!
Must have been having a happy dream!

Craft

So I am not crafty at all! My mother in law and sister in law Carin on the other hand are the Queens of crafts and being so creative, seriously. Anytime I go over to Carins she has made something new that is so cool and I wish I could totally do it. A couple weeks ago I went to the fabric store with them for fun and asked them how hard a skirt would be to make. They said it wouldn't be too hard and my mother in law offered to help! So I bought some fabric and made me a skirt with a lot of help from my mother in law. It took a couple days only because we needed more fabric the size chart was very off. Lets say by 10 sizes off. I needed to act like I was a size 16. But we got it all done and I am excited. I really enjoyed sewing, I want to make another skirt. We got the fabric for like 8 dollars and just some time! Totally cheap skirt!

Who Said?

Who said that boys clothes aren't fun to shop for like girls? I love shopping for Weston, it is so fun and they really have such cute clothes, shoes and hats for boys these days. By the way do you see Weston forehead? Every morning we wake up to a new scratches. We trim his nails so I don't know how he manages to do it. It looks pretty painful!

Blogging

So I have mixed feelings about blogging. I absolutely love to see what is going on in everyone's lives! Its so fun. It's nice to know what's going on and see pictures of my extended family who live in different parts of the US and even my good friends that live close by. Life gets crazy it's fabulous to keep in touch in a convenient way. I also love seeing a different side of things in writing you wouldn't see otherwise-maybe a funny story or confession. It is a nice outlet; a time to express yourself!
On the same note, I feel as blogging has become the newest facade; the perfect way to show the perfect you. Sparkling home, newest craft project, a way to brag about your perfect husband, children, family, vacations, new items, etc. I know I post all of these things too, but I am hesitant every time for this very reason. I tend to get really excited about new things and I know that I can sometimes come off as bragging-PLEASE know that is never my intent.
Does anyone else feel that same way? Or am I the only one?

Ninja

So this Ninja 1100 blender is supposed to replace a mixer, blender, food proccesor and juicer! We got one for our anniversary and can't wait to try it. I don't know if any of you have see the infomercials on this but it seems pretty dang cool. You can put carrots, peppers, fruit into and it just blends it so perfectly (and also tastes great too?) you can also make cookie dough, pizza dough and whatever you want! Lets hope it doesn't dissapoint us!
